The founders of MapmyIndia have launched ClarityX, a new venture focusing on AI-based data analytics and consulting services, according to company sources. Rakesh Verma, Co-Founder and CMD of MapmyIndia, shared that while MapmyIndia initially began as a data analytics company in the 1990s, it later gained prominence in digital navigation. With ClarityX, the founders are returning to their roots in data analytics and consulting, aiming to provide independent services to enterprises, including MapmyIndia as a strategic partner.
Verma emphasized that ClarityX operates independently of MapmyIndia, with no ownership stake held by the latter. The new firm has already commenced operations in collaboration with MapmyIndia, positioning itself as an Indian counterpart to global Big Four consultancy firms like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC. Leveraging advanced data analytics capabilities, ClarityX plans to deliver bespoke insights and consulting solutions tailored for diverse industries such as BFSI, retail, FMCG, energy, and e-commerce.
Verma highlighted the strategic benefits for MapmyIndia, citing opportunities to enhance customer value through upselling and cross-selling of analytics and consulting services. ClarityX has launched with a team of 20 professionals and anticipates achieving revenues of Rs 50 crore in its inaugural year, underscoring its ambitious growth trajectory in the burgeoning field of AI-driven analytics and consulting.
