Innovative Events and Expanding Horizons
FORMATGG’s flagship event, FORMATGG: The Ultimate Gaming Social, is Europe’s premier gaming industry nightlife festival. This unique event merges traditional game industry trade shows with vibrant nightlife culture, drawing businesses and brands such as Ubisoft, Sony, MSI, Social Chain, Escape Technology, Lenovo, Playtonic, and Team 17. The festival showcases projects to over 1,000 attendees, including consumers, industry leaders, and social media influencers, while featuring live performances from top music artists and entertainers.
“I never set out to lead a nightlife movement for the entertainment industry. It started as an underground meetup for gaming and tech enthusiasts and grew organically. By 2018, we had created something unprecedented—a nightlife movement for the games industry,” says Simran Whitham, CEO and Founder of FORMATGG.
Since 2018, Simran has propelled FORMATGG to new heights, placing the UK on the global map as the home of the world’s only games industry nightlife event. In late 2023, FORMATGG announced its expansion into Liverpool, marking a significant milestone as a multi-regional agency and events production company.
